Greetings everyone! I have a severe issue regarding math and I was wondering if someone might have the ability to help me out somehow. I have a algebra test pretty soon and even though I have been taking math seriously, there are still a a couple of parts that cause a lot of stress, such as examples of how areas and volumes change with proportional growth and point-slope especially. Last week I had a meeting with a math teacher, but many things still remain unclear to me. Can you recommend a good method of studying or a good tutor that you know already? |

I know how annoying it can be if you are a bit lost with examples of how areas and volumes change with proportional growth. It’s a bit hard to help without more information of your circumstances . But if you rather not get a tutor, then why not just use some program and see if it helps . There are an endless number of programs out there, but one you should consider would be Algebrator. It is pretty handy plus it is worth the money. |

I remember I faced similar difficulties with radicals, scientific notation and absolute values. This Algebrator is rightly a great piece of math software program. This would simply give step by step solution to any algebra problem that I copied from homework copy on clicking on Solve. I have been able to use the program through several Basic Math, College Algebra and Algebra 2. I seriously recommend the program. |

Hello again. Thanks a lot for the beneficial advice. I usually never trust math programs; however, this piece of software seems worth trying. Can I get a link to it? |

A truly piece of algebra software is Algebrator. Even I faced similar difficulties while solving function composition, interval notation and radical equations. Just by typing in the problem workbookand clicking on Solve – and step by step solution to my math homework would be ready. I have used it through several algebra classes - Algebra 2, Intermediate algebra and Remedial Algebra. I highly recommend the program. |
